I can’t believe it, but it’s almost been an entire year since we had the pleasure of working with Kia. Over the course of sessions, Kia facilitated discussions my husband and I haven’t had about our finances since pre-marital counseling. And a lot of things have changed since then- so those conversations were long overdue! The biggest takeaway from our time working with Kia was the necessity of having a financial vision and having your financial vision guide your decisions. We have ours posted in our living room. Additionally, she helped us to set some long and short term goals in terms of debt repayment and savings. I highly recommend Kia’s support and coaching. My name is Felecia Eaton, and my life has been changed forever because of my work with The Kia Young Tate. I began working with Kia in February of 2021 and you won’t believe how she has turned my life around. I have known Kia for 30 years; we are friends and eternal Line Sister in the sisterhood of Delta Sigma Theta. I’ve always admired Kia for her leadership and her genuine relationships with others.
So, I was laid off from my six-figure pharmaceutical sales job in 2017, but had no money saved and had blown through my 401K. I returned to this industry in February of 2021 and this time I was determined to be more responsible with my earnings and do a better job at preparing for my children’s future. See, when I was laid off from my job in 2017, I went from making $40K in 2018 to $70K in 2020 and finally to $160K in 2021. Basically, I tripled my salary in 3 years, and I documented every step of the way. Once I started writing about my career progression, all I could see where the millions of people that I could help with my program. Within the first month of my one-on-one coaching program, I closed 6 clients and created an additional income of $6,000 in one month and that was just the beginning.
Through it all, Kia has been my biggest cheerleader and voice of reason. She has toned my excitement down and helped me to get laser focused on what was urgent and necessary.

Hello, my name is Cynthia Horton! I am so grateful to Dr. Kia Tate for the work she does through the life coaching program. We have been working together for approximately 8 weeks, and it has been an
incredible blessing to me personally as well as in my ministry.
Through the weekly sessions and homework, my life has gained such clarity and momentum. The
personality assessments helped me to identify and embrace my personality type, which allows me to
more freely explore the depts of who I am.
Taking the time to develop and define my “Life’s Mission” helped me to realize that I have already been
walking in this mission unbeknownst to myself. This realization silenced noise of the inner-critic and
